Along the forest trail visitors will encounter various wood species used historically for a wide range of everyday purposes. At four ‘study stations’ selected types of wood and their uses will be addressed in detail and brought into context with the Ballenberg environment. By means of transparent display cases the objects blend into the surrounding forest in the background.
