DEALING WITH OUTSTANDING ARCHITECTURE FROM THE 70S
The seating landscape was designed in connection with the «End of the World» sports hall by the well-known architect Max Schlup in 1976. When the sports hall was renovated in 2021, the foyer had to be renewed. The task was to reupholster the armchairs and adapt them to today's requirements. The armchairs were redesigned as sofa furniture and the lighting was integrated into the seating landscape to create an inviting atmosphere. The historic clock, which used to serve as a timepiece in the sports hall, was employed as a new design element in the entrance area. The old tables were refurbished and Eames chairs by Vitra from the same era were added to the conference rooms.
